Released in December 1982, Michael Jackson's sixth solo album, 'Thriller' confirmed his place in music history.

The jury's still out as to whether it's the best-selling album ever - a 1984 Time magazine article claimed 18 million copies had been sold in the US alone two years after its release. By 2006 the figure had risen to 104 million copies according to the Guinness World Records.

The album produced a whopping seven US Billboard Top 10 singles (out of nine tracks on the album) and remained in the Billboard album charts for an entire year. It also established Jackson as a global music phenomenon. 25 years on, 'Thriller' remains truly legendary.
